I choose the Mermaid Kisses stamp set for my project. I started out by stamping my image twice so I could cut out the Mermaid and pop dot her tail. The image is colored with Copic markers and fussy cut. I added Bubble Gum glitter to streaks in her hair as well as to the flower centers. Waterfall glitter was used for the water.
Now for details about my card.
The sentiment was heat embossed using Tangy Tangerine embossing powder onto a piece of vellum die cut from a Spellbinders tag die (Ribbon Tag Trio) and I threaded ribbon through it. The distress glitter technique (add Brushable glue to the edges with a brush or sponge dauber and cover with glitter) was used on the layer behind the focal point and the distressed embossing technique (add VersaMark to the edges with a sponge dauber, cover with embossing powder and heat set) was used around the card base. I also adhered some 1/2" Tear-ific tape behind the sentiment and covered it with Waterfall glitter. You can check out my SNS Art Gallery page for more details.
